- Immigrated by 1640 to Watertown. Perhaps lived in Boston first where the record of his daughter Sarah's birth is located Feb 1641/2. His wife survived him, but she had died by 1712 when her estate was split amng her children. Joseph was recorded as a blacksmith and farmer. He is perhaps related to the Beamish family of Suffolk, England, but no evidence yet found.
