Wife: Mary Healy b.c.1612 Thomas Browne of Malford, England appears as a passenger on the ship "James" sailed from Southampton April 5, 1635 and arriving in Boston June 3, 1635. His wife probably made the journey with him, along with their eldest son, Francis. Thomas Browne was a weaver by trade, and was designated a Freeman in May 1639. He signed an oath of allegiance in Newbury in 1678. In 1677 he transfered property to his son-in-law Peter Godfrey
