-His parents are not known for sure, except that his father was not
William Child as noted frequently (see "The American Genealogist
62:29-30"). He traveled with his uncle Ephraim Child to the new world,
and his father has been claimed to be a Joshua Child. His grandfather was
Wolstone Child. Wolstone died in London in 1601.
