Notes:

- Immigrated around 1630 or 1631. He later stated that when he arrived "there were...but three houses in all that side of the country adjoining Pascataqua River". He was a well known earlier colonist, but was frequently getting into arguments with his neighbors and townsman that led to frequent visits and complaints in court. His wife and him even fought publically enough and frequently enough for the court to intervene. Edward Colcord was found drunk on occasion, even in court.
- April 8, 1673 deposed that he was about fifty-six years old
- His wife's name appears as Ann Page in a great man records, and there is also authors who name her as Ann Nunn or Ann Wadd. In 1987, William H. Jones wrote an article for the NEHGR identifying her most reasonably as Ann Warde, daughter of Francis Warde and Susanna Browne of Filby, Norfolk, England. Francis Warde was the son of Robert Warde and Alyce, and Robert the son of Roger Warde + Kateryn.
