Notes:
-There is a Diantha Cook who on her marriage certificate lists her
parents are Peter and Judith Cook of Lowell. However, there is no birth
record for a Diantha Cook. Also, Peter and Judith's last child, Abram
Cook is listed as child #12 on his birth certificate; if Diantha was their
child, Abram would be child #13. The best explination seems to be that
she is one in the same as Dianthy Brockaway born February 8, 1830 to John
and Priscilla (Cook) Brockaway in Bradford, NH, and that Priscilla
Cook was Diantha's 14 year old mother. Her very young age for the time
may have led to the raising of Diantha by her grandparents.
-Diantha Cook would marry her first cousin, once removed Stephen Swett
and have a daughter Emma Swett born Jan 20, 1849 in Somersworth, NH. Emma
died young.
