Notes:
-Resided in Reading, Massachusetts his entire life. He was left
property in his father's will, and was named executor of his father's will
together with his son, Nathaniel, Jr.
In 1687, the town of Reading
chose
Nathaniel to be the Town Clerk in his father William's place. He settled
on Cowdery's Hill. Served in the First Congregational Church of Reading
as a deacon.
-Left his son Samuel ten acres of land, and "his best homespun coat"
in his will.
