- Reported to have had a brother Richard whose will was probated in St. Giles Parish in London, England, naming his brother who was already in the New World and leaving him one shilling.
- Admitted to church in 1658; In 1659 was a cow herdsman. In 1663 deposed that he was 36 years old.
- On June 21, 1674 was excommunicated from the church of Charlestown "for his persisting incorrigebly in his sin of Drunknesse"
