Notes:
-Left no will after being ambushed and murdered by Indians.
-Benjamin Fifield was a juryman in 1679, 1683 and 1693. Also a constable in 1698 and 1699. A representative to the General Assembly in 1697 and clerk of the company in 1699. He was killed by Indians on Sunday, August 1, 1706 in back of his home when he was starting for church. He was coming out of pasture on horseback when seven or eight Indians surprised him, and carried away a lad, who supposedly had an Indian father.
