-In the Public Records Offic of London is listed Norfolk residents who were granted license to leave to the New World, including Thomas Flege age 21. This seems to be inflated however, because he was excused from military service in 1681, which only applied to citizens 60 and younger.
-Selectman eight times between 1671 and 1685.
-In 1659 he lost an eye to a gunshot wound.
-Watertown Records: "Thomas Flege an old man diceaced feb:6: 1697:8.
-The ancestry of the immigrant Flagg is frequently claimed to originate with an Alger de Flagg 12th Century England.
