- Most online sources give a death date of Feb 8, 1743 for Daniel, but I cannot find any such source for this date. The Sudbury Vital Records do not list the death. This is also exactly 40 years to the day before the death of one of his sons, which might be where the date came from.
- Most online sources state that his mother is Alice Lisle; this is almost certainly not true.
