Their last child, Joseph, was baptized in the church of Christ in South Hampton, NH.

-Due to Marriage Intention seemingly listing her as "Mrs"; many have believed that her maiden name was not Quinby. However, the land records of Salisbury present a detailed disposal of lands that she received from her grandfather Samuel Getchell along with her mother's 11 siblings.
-Her name is variously Dorothy Quinbe, Dorothy Quimby in records.
