- Sailed on the ship "Mary and John" of London in March 1634 as a
single man with his brother James. Returned to England about 1638, and
returned on the "Jonathan" in 1639. He served many many town ofices
throughhis years in new england, and was a Deacon. His son, Nicholas
would late become entangled in the Salem Witch trials, officiating as
clergyman at the executions, and trying to extract confessions.
