-Epitaph:Here lys the body of Benjamin Pierce. who died May Ye 19th, 1711, aged 42 years and three months. "Pillar in the sitt of God, bid fair still at greater things to all yt knew him wee, pattern of virtue, kind to all he was. Loved by friends, feared by by his enemye, embalmed intears. Enuey itself started dumb, snact from ye world, in times most troublesome."
-Benjamin Pierce was Executor of his father's will
-He died in the old stone mansion in Newbury, and was buried in a graveyard near the First Parish Meetinghouse. The Meetinghouse and the gravestone wer destroyed in a fire in 1868
