Notes:
- Much confusion over her parantage and origin was apparently resolved
when a chancery suit by the Shatswell siblings regarding the death of
their mother Judith was found in Sibbertoft, Northamptonshire,
England. The suit was filed in 1627 and Judith had been dead over a
decade. It lists all Mary's siblings.
- I have seen no satisfactory evidence that she was the daughter of
John Shatswell and Judith Dillingham of Ipswich, England.
