Notes:
-William immigrated with two of his brothers immigrated with John Endicott on board the "Abigail" which set sail from Weymouth June 20, 1628 or the "Lyon's Whelp" in the summer of 1629. The three brothers appear on a list of settlers of Charlestown at the first meeting of the residents there 1629. In his will he left ten pounds, a cow and a house to his wife "Millisaint", as well as ten pounds a year for her life.
-William's father Edward, of Upwey, Dorset, England, was by trade a fuller. He owned 80 sheep and 42 lambs at the time his will was written. He died in 1614, when William and his siblings were all still children.
