Notes:
-William emigrated in 1634. He was very active in his community, and was literate. He became a freeman in 1642, and selectman in 1646. He served as deputy to the General Court in 1655, as well as constable, commisioner, and multiple juries. A Judge Samuel Sewall in his diary mentions that William was sick two weeks of the Fever and Ague before passing. His will was made six days before his death, and mentions eleven of his children.
-William's second wife, Elizabeth, was the daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Bitfield. Samuel was a constable in Boston and died 1660. Her mothe Elizabeth left Elizabeth and all her children money in her will. "my daughter Elizabeth Titcomes"
