Notes: Richard Warren traveled on the Mayflower with the Pilgrims
on their 1620 journey to the new world. He traveled without his children
or wife who would join him later in 1623. He was a co-signer of the
Mayflower Compact, and one of the ten passengers that were part of the
landing party when the Mayflower arrived at Massachusetts.
It is
recordd in 1628: "This year [1628] died Mr. Richard Warren, who hath been
mentioned before in this book, and was a useful instrument; and during his
life bore a deep share in the difficulties and troubles of the first
settlement of the plantation of New Plimouth"
- He, and his first three children are mentioned in the will of his father-in-law Augustine Walker.
