Notes:
-Wrote his will Feb 12, 1616/7 (proved March 8, 1616/7). Bequeathed to the poor of Horsmonsen, his wife, and sons and daughters. He left his son Simon his house and property when he reaches 21 years of age. He directs that Simon be put with some honest man to learn a good trade.
-In 1605 "Richard Willard of Horsmonden, yeoman" "armed with weapons, assaulted John Willard at Horsmonden in the highway and ill treated him and imprisoned him for five hours". Also in 1605 "Richard Willard" "stole two cows worth 100s, one feather bed worth 60s, one cooking pot worth 30s, one table worth 10s belonging to Thomas Willard of Horsmonden in his house there"
