- Lived in the house "Wahnersch Haus", one of only 4 houses/farms in the village of Balde at the time of his death. In 1606 he is listed as owning 11 adult, and 2 young pigs. His father Abraham did not have a surname as surnames generally did not exist before around the year 1600 in this area. When the surname first entered the family, it was "Treisbach" for some time before changing into Dreisbach. Abraham is recorded on a list of militiamen as a rifleman living in Balde in 1575. The village of Balde was re-established in 1538, so Abraham was born elsewhere and became a founding resident of this small hamlet.
