-Married 2nd Peter Ayer, son of Peter Ayer and Lydia Perley, her first cousin. They were married August 17, 1779. Peter Ayer died March 3, 1799
-Raised her grandson Peter Ayers Cook until he was 10 years old
-Was executrix of Peter Ayer's estate. In an accounting of money she
gave on May 3, 1803, Benjamin Cook had received $42. Also, William Smiley
who served with William Cook in Revolutionary War company, $5
-Nathaniel Perley, husband of Peter Ayer's sister Lydia wrote to the
judge to try and get a copy of the will.
-Married
3rd, Daniel Lord September 4, 1803. He fought in the
Revolutionary War, and would long outlive her (until at least 1840).
Daniel Lord lived with Mary Ayer's grandson Peter Cook in his old age.
