Notes:
- When her husband died, she declined to administer the estate, so her
sons Thomas ans Joseph jointly administered
the estate.
- When her father died, she received one cow in the will. She then
remarried a Mr. Symonds of Lynn. On Feb 2, 1733, "...Susannah Symonds of
Lynn, widow, in presence of Richard Hood and Benj. Newhall, conveyed to
her son Samuel Newhall, by deed of gift, all her right in the real estate
which had been in the possession of her brother Thomas Farrar, late of
Lynn, deceased, and was given unto him, the sd Thos. Farrar, by her
hon[ore]d father Mr. Thos. Farrar, formerly of Lynn, deceased..."
- On the internet, her mother is frequently falsely assigned as
"Elizabeth Hood", but "Elizabeth Hood" was the name of the other Thomas
Farrar and was much too young to be Susanna's mother (1 year old at her
birth)
