Notes:
- He was a bricklayer/Mason.
- He died on the road between Boston and Lynn, age 46. He was on the
way home from a session of the Massachusetts General Court, of which he
was a member. He was riding his horse, was caught in a snowstorm and
froze to death.
- He was an Ensign, and frequently held positions "of honor and trust"
in the town records.
- In 1679, He obtained some of the "threescore acres" that was
purcahsed by his
father. When he died, he also owned a 34 acre farm. His wife declined to
administer the estate, so his sons Thomas ans Joseph jointly administered
the estate.
