-She was summoned to court to acknowledge that her child was illegitimate on 29 April 1684 in Ipswich, Massachusetts. She was ordered whipped, or to pay a fine. She was whipped ten stripes for fornication. She joined the church on 2 April 1699 in Salisbury, Massachusetts; after which her illegitimate son, John Darling, was baptized.
