-She sold land with her son Samuel where she appeared Sept 29, 1691
-She appears in almost all family histories as "Joanna Luffe", a daughter of John Luffe who immigrated on the "Mary & John" in 1634. This is because Robert Hibbard refers to John Luffe as "father" in multiple records. However, the "Great Migration Begins" series, volume 4, believes that the evidence instead indicates that John Luffe married either the widowed mother of Robert Hibbard or the widowed mother of Joanna (named Bridget) much later in life.
