Notes:
-There are multiple contemporary men named Cyprian Stevens about the same age. Cyprian Stevens son of Simon Stevens and Mary Wilder is one; but it is more likely this Cyprian was the Cyprian son of Jacob Stevens and Anna Whipple, if only because Jacob and Anna are known to have resided in Stow.
-Resided in Rutland, Mass. Removed 1737-1740 to Holden, Massachusetts
-First Town Clerk of Holden 1741-1746, and with John Bigelow, petitioner for the creation of Holden.
-Selectman
-Wife's maiden name is given variously as Wilder in history of Holden. This is incorrect. Original Vital Record in Stow gives intention of marriage to Damaras Whitney. Her gravestone reads:Damaris w. of Lieut. Cyprian S. ; d. Sept. 28 ; a. 79.

-If Jacob and Anna are his parents, his known ancestors are:
-1. Cyprian Stevens
-2. Jacob Stevens b.1672/3
-3. Anna Whipple b.1675
-4. Thomas Stevens b.1629 England
-5. Mary Green b.1634
