Notes:
-He is listed in Thalheim church records as being from "Asperg." He was in fact from Asperglen, a small village which does not currently exist (it is now part of Rudersberg). The old records for the church at Asperglen are found with those of Rudersberg as well as Oppelsbohm and Krehwinkel. Asperglen is about 45 minute drive south of Talheim.
-There appears to be a gap in the Asperglen records between 1683 and 1695, so his baptism record has not yet been located. However, his marriage is recorded in both the Talheim and the Asperglen church books.
