-The bullet that Killed William P. Cook in the Battle Of Brown's Ferry was on display at the Museum near the top of the hill there in Tennessee until the 1950s or 1960s when the collection was sold off.
-He moved from NH to Lowell, Mass around 1842
-He is buried at Chatanooga National Military Park in Tennesee. Plot B-665

-Daughter Helen F. Smith is listed as a vestmaker living with Sophronia (Byam) Cook in 1870. No husband lited with her.
-The Book, "Descendants of George Byam (?-1680)" (1975) lists children Willard Cook and Willie Cook as twins. The 1870 Census lists a Willie Cook, 9 years old. Either his twin brother died by this time, or the book is mistaken.
